Weekly Update 3/23

Hello Backers,

First of all, Team Snow Lizard (Steve and Andy) wanted to thank you guys for your support. 

We will be giving updates on a weekly basis (every Friday or so) to let everyone know where we are and how we are are doing. Plus it gives us an extra incentive to drive hard and fast. 

Here are the updates for this week.

The project is coming along just fine. We finalized the design and have now moved to manufacturing phase. In this phase, the will create the tool or mould for all the pieces of the case. This will take around 30-45 days or so (Design and making of the tool), then another 2 weeks or so perfecting it.

 

In the meantime, we have selected the battery which will be 2000 mAh and we are finalizing the solar cell manufacturer. We will be at 20 percent efficiency which will put us on the top for any solar device.

 

Schedule has us for late May or early June delivery. We will be at the factory next month cracking the whip to make sure we hit our dates. I will get you the first pictures off the first "final" prototype. 

We are also working on the packaging. We are also working on getting some of the accessories designed. As you can tell we have a lot of work to say the least. We are still trying to respond to all emails or messages to us. 

We are really humbled that we hit 165K in just 30 days. We have a lot of reviews lined up for launch (we are really excited about that). We will continue to work hard to make this the case we all envision.

Some quick comments: Colors, i think some expected the whole range of colors that we had put below. We can only do a certain amount of colors to start (cost reasons). That is why we chose the 6 colors (the most popular ones as well). 

Make sure you do your Survey, as this is the only way i get your shipping, color,etc information. Without that, we will not be able to ship you anything. The accessory question in the survey was to see what accessory is most important to you, we will not be adding an accessory to the case yet.
