Aninmation Update & our Caption Competition!
The animators are really starting to get into their stride now as Simon's storyboards are coming to life. We have some great scenes that are almost complete showing a range of performances from subtle, poignant glances to outright slapstick comedy - seeing the team exploring the interaction between the characters is hugely inspiring!
Cate and David's narration is also a joy for the team to work with and the flow of the story in its beautiful rhyming verse has created a great momentum and buzz in the studio!
Caption Competition
Below is a sneak peak of one of the scenes we are currently working on, with Mum, Dad and the baby in the kitchen. If you have a good caption idea for this image, please put it in the comments section of this post and the best caption - from any of our backers - will have a street in the film named after them. Yes that's right - you could be immortalised by having your very own street in A Cautionary Tail!
The competition closes at 6pm 1st May Eastern Time Zone (that is New York time) which is 8am 2nd May Sydney time and the winner will be announced shortly after.
So hurry up, get creative and send us your ideas!!

Thank you so much!
I feel really honored that I can make this small contribution to the project in addition to the pledge, and I'm very excited about the animated film and can't wait to see it!
I'd also like to thank you and the team for all of the hard work, dedication and beautiful 3D and miniature animation you're bringing to us in this story and especially for letting us be a part of it!
Kind wishes and all the best for this fantastic project!
Asha

AND THE WINNER IS.....
ASHA SPARKLES " Tomorrow, breakfast is on you."
It was a really tough choice, but in our humble opinion this one just pipped the others for its humour and simplicity. Well done Asha! The Asha Sparkles Street will be immortalised in the world of A Cautionary Tail!
Special mention to Jeremie Lariviere, Stuart Morton, Daniella Jaeger and Stephen Thomas.
Thank you everyone for sending us in your ideas, they were all fantastic! Well done!
