Guess what? Your rewards are now making their way through the postage services of the world to your mailboxes!

The team spent a long but exciting day yesterday with our wonderful multiplatform producer, Diana Comino, packaging and posting your artwork, DVDs, Blu-Rays and other goodies.

We consumed lots of sugar. We reminisced about making the film. We took some photos (see below). And once again, we found ourselves humbled by your incredible generosity.

As you may know - all these limited edition discs were especially created just for you! We must ask you to please resist the temptation to upload A Cautionary Tail to the internet or copy the disc as we are talking to many people, including broadcasters, who are interested in buying the film. It won't have any value if its available for free online.

To all of you who supported us through the journey and made it possible, another heartfelt thanks.

We are extremely excited to share news of our book deal with Penguin. A 32-page hardcover picture book will be published later this year illustrated with images from the film.

It has been a fun process choosing our favourite stills to supply to Penguin designers who are playing with the book layout.

Those of you who generously supported us in the $250 category or above will get a signed copy hot off the press that will be sent when published.

The team are busy making all other rewards to send out in a few weeks time. Thanks to everyone who completed the survey for current address. If you haven't had a chance to yet please do today as we can't wait to send our Rewards Packages to you.

Today is the exciting day that we premiere A Cautionary Tail to the world. Writer Erica Harrison shares her very personal story behind the film in an article in today's Australian newspaper. It tells her journey from a horrific accident to the joy of seeing her story come to life in the film. 

The support you gave us played a very important role in both finishing the film and bringing colour back to Erica's world. We hope those of you in Sydney can come along to the premiere 9pm tonight at Flickerfest, Bondi Pavilion. International screening coming soon to a festival near you.

Happy new year! We are very excited about the world premiere of A Cautionary Tail at Flickerfest which is Australia's only Academy Award accredited short film festival.

If you are in Sydney we hope you can join us to see it on the big screen. You can purchase tix for Best of Australian Programme 3 screening 9pm Mon 14 Jan at Bondi Pavilion. We will be in the bar from 8pm so hope you can come along. There will be a big crew of us there on the night and we would love you to join us...

We're getting some great press surrounding the premier with two television segments! Thanks to Foxtel Movie Show and 730 program on ABC-TV. Here's some pics from the Sydney Morning Herald which gave us a fantastic write up.

The world is a better place with people like you!

It's a very exciting day for the team as we are finally screening the finished film to our cast & crew and Kickstarter supporters who pledged over $100.

We have hired a small local theatre in Sydney and are screening from a digital cinema package (DCP) with a theatrical 5.1 audio mix. It will be the first of many theatrical screenings as our baby launches onto the film festival circuit. 

We are dying to share news of our acceptance into competition at premier local and international film festival but have been sworn to secrecy until the official announcement at the media launch. We will post screening dates on Kickstarter, fb, Twitter and on our website...
