"Nothing Like Ivanhoe" is a new short film by director Bug Davidson, shooting August 2012 in Austin, TX.
"Nothing Like Ivanhoe" begins production in Austin, TX this August. This experimental film explores the comedic in everyday life through new and surprising imagery and sounds. The moving picture will be shot in HD video, film, analog video and stop-motion animation. Built on the cyclical pace of working-class queer existence, this production will use advances in contemporary theory to produce a fun, challenging, and visually-captivating media experience.
The above video is a sample of the types of experiments our new film will contain. The musicians will always be present, creating the score as we shoot. This is one huge reason we need your help, to afford the best sound recording equipment and technicians available. It will be a huge technical challenge! Other funds will be used for lighting and lens rentals, coffee, set dressing, costumes, and a hard drive to edit the film on.

Who is the Cathead Delux?
" Witty and compassionate, Lowell's performance will move you." - CNBCN News
Caitlin Lowell was raised in Austin, TX. After a four year tour as the top miniature horse roper in the state, she decided to turn her focus to acting. After turning down roles in many major motion pictures, she finally accepted the role of 'Beaver' in Bug Davidson's cinematic misadventure "Big Bright Future". She also hopes to one day own a kitten and name it Vampire Bill.
Who are these Musicians?
Splitting their time between being real life rockstars and fake poker champions, Rademacher and Bailey are legendary Austin characters. Well known for an extremely large precious moments figurine collection, these artists are sure to please when it comes to building a live cinema soundscape. They are bold to accept the challenge and we are lucky to have them.
