We're Kait and Brian. Normally, we write songs and musicals. But right now, we're making an album.
Hey Liz - Thanks for asking. We did do the concerts last spring to make the live album and we are planning on releasing the album as soon as we can. Unfortunately, live albums are just as hard if not harder to produce than regular studio albums and the recording is just the first of many many steps involved. We're currently in the mixing process. It won't release until at least the fall. When we have a definite date, we'll be sure to update here!
Did you guys ever release the 2nd CD with the live recordings?
I know you guys are crazily busy but just wanted to check about the sheet music and rarity cd. Just wanting to make sure I didn't some how miss them. Thanks.

I am trying to get tickets to the concert at the Rockwood Music Hall on 1/23, but the venue isn't providing a way to get tickets. Your concert is listed in their calendar but does not provide an option to buy tickets to the concert.
Hey - just so this is posted everywhere. The backers party will now be on Sunday Jan. 16th at 9pm. It will be directly after the Laurie Beechman concert on the same night. They are TWO SEPARATE EVENTS. If you want to attend the concert, you have to buy a ticket. We recommend doing this immediately as it's a pretty small venue: 212.695.6909

I have a question about release party tickets and I wasn't sure if this was the best place to ask, so hopefully it is. Anyways, I don't live in New York so I was hoping to give the tickets to my friend who does. Is that doable and is there a way I can send you her address for that so that she gets the tickets in time?

A couple people mentioned that they were sad that we couldn't do a weekend party. Unfortunately, albums always release on Tuesdays. We're hoping the fact that it's MLK day will make it a little more doable for people!

Ok, everything is good now! Just a simple re-entering my card information was all it took. If anyone else has this problem, just go to the amazon.com checkout. Don't keep trying card numbers already saved, enter a new one (it can still be the same card.) Everything should work. Greatly looking forward to the album!
Hi everyone - We've gotten a couple questions about when credit cards were charged. It should have happened yesterday.
The catch at kickstarter is that they don't fund your project until the deadline's been reached. And so, even though you pledged three weeks ago, they didn't run your card until yesterday. I believe it's the card linked to your amazon account - so maybe double-check to make sure that that card is up to date.
On the Kickstarter FAQ it says:
A project I'm backing just succeeded and my credit card was declined. What should I do?
If you card was declined, log in to Kickstarter and click the "Action Needed" system message on the top of your screen. Follow the instructions there and you should be set.

Hey, I pledged at least three weeks ago. Just today I got an email and notification from the site saying " There is a problem with your payment to Help Kerrigan-Lowdermilk Make the Best Album Ever by Kerrigan-Lowdermilk." It says that either my card expired, was maxed out, or the transaction was flagged. I've never had this problem with my card before.

Congrats guys!!!I am sooo happy to be a part of this project... the first K&L-song I heard was "Run away with me" sung by Michael Arden and I fell in love... and having all my favorite singers with your songs on two albums is just incredible!!! I can't tell you, how happy I am, especially because I am from germany and now have the opportunity to see a real K&L-concert, even if it's on the internet!!!

Congratulations on making it to $30,000 and 400 backers! I was just wondering, would you ever consider making some of these rewards available again in the future, if you decided to record another album or just have a general fundraiser for your next show? As much as I'd love to be able to donate enough to get a copy of the rarities CD or get some of my incredibly talented friends to sing with you someday, I just graduated from college with no job to pay off my loans, and unfortunately lack the funds at this time.
