Trying to participate in my Acting Showcase at the Playroom Theater May 3, 2012. It's an opportunity to perform for casting agents!
I'm a BFA Acting major at Florida State University. As part of my career here, I'm offered a chance to be a part of a senior showcase. It's a 40-50 minute show we construct over the course of our final semester and ultimately bring to The Playroom Theater in NYC, May 3 2012. We mix scenes from contemporary plays ( the tragic, the hysterical, the absurd and the charmingly witty) to promote our ourselves as soon-to-be professional actors seeking agents, a foot in the door, an interview ect. I'm unable to participate in this showcase as of now, due to student financial woes. The cost of my participation is a pretty penny, and in my case it's fifty thousand pennies.... or $500 big ones for my portion of space rental, marketing and transportation. I desperately want to be a part of my graduating class and part of this performance opportunity in NYC; with what could be my first time ever on stage in The Big Apple!

One two-hour Stage Combat lesson! I'm SAFD (Society of American Fight Directors) proficient in Single Sword and Unarmed Combat. I can demonstrate awesome non-contact moves that'll fool everyone around you. I can also do a single-sword session (Great for people who've always wanted to be swashbuckling pirates!)
