From dealing with Elmo characters and the NYPD to women with strange fantasies and other mimes that have the hots for me, FROM BUSK TIL DAWN:THE LIFE OF AN NYC STREET PERFORMER is a story that has never been told. It has taken me a long time (bout 5 years) to put this show together because I wanted it to really be ready, and I am proud to say that I feel it is! The funds I seek are mostly so I can cover my basic costs; pay my director, my sound guy and advertise a little bit. This is a one time performance with the United Solo Theatre Festival, but rest assured this show is just starting out on the festival circuit and I will be (hopefully) bringing it to the NYC Fringe next summer--very confident about that.
I know it might seem weird to donate for a one time performance, but believe me, the work that has gone into this show and that these funds are paying for, will be seen for years to come. Thanks so much for your support!
