Hi Kickstarter!  I’m Kathy Fowler, and I want to thank you for checking out my Kickstarter campaign.

As an artist, the creative thoughts and projects never stop coming to mind, so to appease the soul and satisfy my entrepreneurial spirit as well, I've started a new line of jewelry that combines fused glass with polymer clay and metallic finishes.  I've searched but have not found anyone else doing quite the same thing. 

Here's what I do: I start with fusable glass, incorporating dichroic glass into the design, and fire in my kiln. Then, I design the setting in polymer clay, adding intricate details as the colors and patterns of the glass piece inspires me. Next, I may add several layers of metallic powders to the piece to achieve a vintage jewelry look. Finally, I seal the piece, then select a coordinating satin cord and add the jewelry findings to create the finished product.

Dichroic glass is beautiful, it changes in the light as it moves.  A photograph, nor even a video do it justice.  You will need to see it for yourself.

I am asking for $950 to cover the costs of materials and marketing so that I can bring my jewelry to you! The white piece above was a special request but is so popular I'm getting many more requests that I make more like it.  However, I don't currently have the materials to make any similar pieces so these are some of the specific materials the funding will go towards.
