Help me raise the application fee to bring "Compatibility an 8 Bit Musical" to the 2013 Orlando Fringe!
Based on the successful production of it last April, I'm looking to bring Compatibility, an 8 Bit Musical to Orlando Fringe.
Mary is a wannabe sci-fi writer stuck working in a electronics repair store with a duo of crazy characters. There's Jenny, whose obsessed with become an internet video meme, and Fitzwilliam whose long hours of adventure RPG playing has trapped his mind into speaking a third-person faux Shakespearean dialect.
When Chris, a sci-fi writer who Mary can't stand due to his sloppy science writing, leaves his laptop to be repaired, she decides to make a few changes. Her newly revised version becomes an overnight sensation and the two must learn how to work together.
The show is filled with more than a dozen original songs that take their cue from classic Nintendo 8 bit video game soundtracks.

The show has gone through some revisions since this version. For the Orlando Fringe production, we will be using an experienced director and working with a musical arranger to bring the show to then next level.
The Plan
We will be submitting the show for the Orlando Fringe Lottery in hopes of getting the Theater Downtown space. The amount of money in the original goal will allow us to do 4 performances. Any additional money will help us to submit for additional performances or go towards costume budget.
FAQ
What will happen if the show isn't picked in the lottery?
If the show is not picked in the lottery than you will have the option of either receiving a refund or allowing that money to be used for the recording of a concept album.
