Update #9: music for the show

Posted on August 21, 2009

A few days ago I went over to my friend Sonia’s house to work on the music for the show. And by that I mean I sat and listened to what she had done, and I’m thrilled with the result! Now I just have to figure out the length of the runway and how long it will take each model to walk it. There may be some video footage of me trying to figure this out, so watch this space.

Thank you Sonia!

StudyNY is a creative collective based in Brooklyn and run by fashion designer, Tara St James.
Formerly the creative director for Covet, Tara is branching out on her own to run the collective and produce a small collection of sustainable clothing.
The collective encompasses clothing, jewelery and graphic designers, photographers, musicians, video and fine artists.
Each member is encouraged to work on their own projects as well as group collaborations.
With a focus on sustainable design, the group works with recycled and organic materials as much as possible.
The collective will be launching it's first clothing collection, The Square Project, at NY fashion week this September.
In the meantime, Study clothing can be found at 5 in 1 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
