Update #15: New Site and New Store for Big Hearts
Hello Backers,
Thanks to all of you, The Big Hearts Fund is off to a fantastic start! Our online store is up and running on bigheartsfund.org. You can currently buy collars and leashes, and the metal bowl stands will be for sale sometime in the next 2-3 weeks. All proceeds made from the sale of products go towards our mission: to raise funds and awareness for dogs and cats with heart disease. Tell your friends! Collars and leashes make wonderful Christmas gifts for your furry pals :)
Also, you will find YOUR NAME listed in the About section, under "Special Supporting Individuals." I felt it was important to thank each and every one of you in the most public way possible, because none of what we've accomplished so far could have been done without you.

Update #12: Prototype #1
Hello faithful backers! It's officially been one week and two days since we reached our funding goal, and I'd like to share developments with you. We received our first metal bowl stand prototype from the manufacturer (Chicago Waterjet) last week, and I'd like you to see our progress so you can feel good about where your money is going.

I am a creative and visionary individual, not afraid to take risks to make the world a better place or to find personal fulfillment. I am a practicing art therapist, and I am also an artist with a degree in design. I also love my pets! And, my dog has heart disease. So I've started Big Hearts Fund to help raise funds and awareness for other dogs and cats and their people who may struggle to provide these special needs animals with the proper care (it is costly and time consuming). I believe that passionate and creative people working together can achieve anything, and this is what it will take to change the world, one small step at a time.
