Scott Tanner Jones had a small festival hit with his 2007 short film Plainview, a dark drama in which a restaurant manager attempts to redeem herself after being talked into a humiliating strip search of her socially inept employee. It played over thirty film festivals, including Stony Brook, Cinequest and Rhode Island International, and garnered several awards along the way, including two for actress Ryan Driscoll.
Other projects include the “Carbone” series, a 180-degree turn into comedy and finds him donning the additional role as lead actor. Acting credits include the Slamdance short film Cushion and the recent webseries The Intern.
Scott currently resides in Los Angeles. Take Care marks his feature film debut and reunites him with Plainview lead Ryan Driscoll.
