Update #20: Final Update
Thank you all for your support with the SoundJaw project last year! It was great to get to know some of my backers and I enjoyed hearing your feedback and suggestions for the SoundJaw.
While at MacWorld this year I met a lot of people who loved the SoundJaw but had a hard time squeezing it onto their case. They also had other devices that they wanted to use it on and sadly the original SoundJaw wasn't so flexible. This made me determined to find a solution.

Update #19: Probably my last update :(
Hey there Backers! I just wanted to send out one final update to say thanks and to also clear up some confusion. I have received messages from a handful of people claiming that there SoundJaw hasn't arrived. I have been working hard on trying to find a solution for this but it looks like USPS has just been VERY slow in delivering some of the packages. Also, if you only filled out the survey after I sent out the final batch there is a possibility your shipping details got mixed in with the rest and I didn't see them. If this is the case please send me a message with your address and the color you want. I will then double-check with the list and we can go from there.
Thanks again for giving me the push I needed to get this off the ground. It has been a great learning experience for me.

Update #16: Final update before shipping.
Hey guys I just wanted to send out one last update before we ship! As mentioned before, the SoundJaw does NOT fit the iPhone. I have a solution for it but it will be a one time fix only for Kickstarter backers as it is time intensive and not as perfect as the original SoundJaw. PLEASE contact me (by message) if you are someone who bought it for your iPhone 4. If you have already contacted me you should have received a message regarding this.
I have had a few questions about the iPad 1 compatibility. As mentioned in the project description, the SoundJaw fits the iPad 1 but it's not perfect because the SJ is made for the iPad 2. I just tried the final product on an iPad 1 and it does fit. The problem I have found is that if you push it on all the way it will sometimes slide back. It WILL stay on however and it WILL boost the volume. It doesn't fit as snug as it does on the iPad 2 but it will pass a shake test.
Above all, thank you so much to all of you for backing this project. It means so much to me and I hope you are all very happy with the SoundJaw. We are just starting our "packaging party" and will be sending out the huge shipment within a day or two.

Hi Matthew,
Can't I use the Soundjaw for both Ipad 1 and Iphone4? Or if you customise for the Iphone it'll not work for Ipad1?

COLOR COMMITTEE- Want a say in the colors available for the SoundJaw? Due to the fact that the manufacturing cost goes up when we start to customize we can't offer too many colors right now. We are going to do black and white for sure but are not sure on the others. We most likely will offer 2 more colors but would like your input. The first $3 you spend on this reward gets you a vote in what color you want. For each additional dollar you spend you get another vote. For Example: $5= 3 votes. $10=8 votes. $100= 98 votes. At the end of the project I will send out a survey asking what color you want, you may divide votes among multiple colors if you wish. I will then add up all the votes and provide you with the results.

What's in it for you? I would love it if you could be in the video. This will mean going up in the helicopter and such. You will also get the carcass of the iPad. There is only one spot available.
