Dear Friends, 

Tomorrow marks the end of our Kickstarter fundraiser for "Out of The Silence." I'm sorry to report that we probably will not reach our stated goal. You will not be charged for your pledge if the goal isn’t met. 

But let me take this opportunity to let you know how much I appreciated your generous pledge and your support of the project. I still feel deeply about the issues – bullying, hate crimes against vulnerable LGBT youth, and teen suicide – and I'm still committed to finding a way to lend my voice to the cause. The issues aren’t going away anytime soon and I still believe this exhibit can make a difference in raising awareness. The more we can bring these issues "out of the silence," the more chance we'll have to make lasting change. It’s as simple as that. Everyone has a right to live a happy, confident life, free of discrimination. 

I’m going back to the drawing board to re-think how to make this exhibit happen. If you're still interested in supporting it, let me know. Maybe, just maybe, we can make it a reality.
