Hello Everyone, thanks for coming and checking out my Kickstarter site, here is a little bit about my project:

ABOUT THE GROUP

THE STUDIO

We will be recording on August 12-14 at Gung Ho Studio in Eugene, Oregon with Billy Barnett. Gung Ho is great studio, and more importantly, Billy is an outstanding engineer, musician, and artist’s advocate.

WHAT WE WILL BE RECORDING

→ Selections from the American Songbook

→ Lesser known songs from Willy Wonka

→ At least one contrafact

→ A smattering of original tunes by Jesse

I hesitate to list specifics because I am leaving a portion of the session open to things that work out in the moment, and in the week of playing together before the recording.

COST BREAKDOWN

Recording in expensive, especially with people who are coming from all over the United States, here is the how things breakdown:

“Day of Recording” Costs
Studio Fees – $2,400
Players’ Fees – $2,800
Hotel Fees – $1,453
Per Diem – $530

“After Recording” Costs
Mastering - $600
Mechanical Royalties - $? ($200 or so)
Distribution/Packaging Deal - $2,700
