JOIN ME ON THE ROAD!! (Adventure from Nashville, TN to the Southern-most tip of the American continents.) A pilgrimage to document culture and self.
The plan is to drive from the United States to the bottom of Chile.

We leave on September 20th. Duration of the trip is unknown.
PURPOSE: Documentation - I'll be traveling with Joseph Berger. Together we'll document each culture we find. Music, art, politics, food, geography - everything we find will be covered. The goal is to publish the project in some form of photo journalism. I'm the writer, Joe is the photographer.
PROBLEM: Darian Gap - The Darian Gap is the roadless stretch of jungle between Panama and Columbia. We have various jobs lined up along the way through networking and friends but need extra funding to cross the gap.
A cargo boat for Joe, our Toyota truck and me is approx. $1000 each way. Our kickstarter goal is $3000 for the shipment and other supplies we will need.
We have a route mapped out with places to stop along the way. We plan work for room and board with various humanitarian / ecological organizations:
Barton Creek Outpost - Belize (organic farm)
Costa Rican Animal Shelter
Mexican homestay in Guanajuato
among others...
The bottom of the South America is a region named Tierra Del Fuego or Land of Fire.
