Update #23: My heartfelt and sincere thanks
I want to send my heartfelt and sincere thanks to everyone, to our supporters, our wonderful backers and, especially, to the team who set this all up and kept it going :

Update #22: Bingo!!! Unbelievable...
I can't believe it! Many said this couldn't be done.
I'm so moved that I can hardly type (or spell).
I send you all my deepest appreciation, respect and love.
Not only from me but also from Ricky who asked me once to 'set the record straight' and I promised him I'd do so.
You all have made this possible.

Update #20: OMG! Only 29 hours to go!!!
To all you wonderful Backers,
Now there are 259 of you wonderful people and we're at 91% of the goal. Oh, oh, oh, with only 29 hours to go (and on a night when you're all going out partying) I'm holding my breath!
CAN WE MAKE IT???
People are sending messages that it seems LIKELY... Doesn't it? Well, I'm still sitting on the edge of my chair biting my fingernails. This is so nerve-wracking!
At the same time, I am so completely overwhelmed by the generous contributions that you all have made. Pledges galore from $1 and up, even to $2500!!!
But we can't stop now!
Our whole team and many, many of you out there have been going nonstop day & night writing emails, tweeting and skyping. (The 24 hr 'nonstop' is only possible because we're straddling three continents!)
Watching this campaign grow has been is incredibly moving. A kind of slow, steady wave building towards the end and then SHOOTING up to the sky. I's so impressive and to think that it's thanks to ALL OF YOU for Tweeting and Texting and Calling and whatever everyone does all around the world. It's absolutely AMAZING!
I am so grateful and totally in awe by how you've all acted and RE-acted on behalf of this film.

Update #19: CHIEFS and a visit from Noel E. Parmentel, Jr.
In this 5-minute segment from our work-in-progress, Ricky and Noel reminisce about the making of CHIEFS (Leacock-Pennebaker,1969).
In February 1974, Ricky goes food shopping and prepares dinner for his good friend Noel E. Parmentel, Jr. Jeff Kreines and I were there shooting (me, with MIT prototype Super 8 Sync Sound camera; Jeff, with his Nagra). Sorry, I don't remember the name of his other guest -- if anyone out there has a clue -- please let us know!
