A beautifully rendered graphic novel about an emergency rescue team at work in a world that looks like our own with a few surprises.

What is TEDDY-1?

TEDDY-1 is a graphic novel without words.  It is a 127 page, 7"x11", hardcover, full-color book.  The story was influenced by many different comics and graphic novels as well as Japanese Anime from the 80s.  

This book is inspired by and in appreciation of people like firefighters and EMTs.  This book is about them.

What is Kickstarter? 

Kickstarter is a platform for funding creative projects.  Through Kickstarter, independent artists submit their project proposals and a fundraising goal with a predetermined deadline to meet the goal.  You can make a pledge and support the project.  If we meet my goal by the deadline, you get charged for your pledge and will receive the associated incentive.  It's all or nothing, if the fundraising goal is not met you do not get charged for your pledge.

What is the pledge for?

The Kickstarter goal amount will cover print costs for a small printing run of TEDDY-1 (1000 books). Money earned will go directly to printing and shipping expenses.
