The Ghouligans! Original Monster Horror Comedy show looking to finance six episode mini-series.
The Ghouligans! are embarking on a brand new project that will keep us in production for the next 8 months! DIY independent filmmaking has always been a labor of love, but with your help, we can make this the best show we've ever done to date! All your donations will be put to good use. The money we raise will go towards the following:
- Improved make-up, props and costumes
- A back-scratcher for Boris
- Renting out studio space for production
- Feeding the hardworking cast and crew
- Building elaborate sets
- Extra limbs for Void
- Medical expenses due to on-set injuries
- Flying out possible guest cameos
- Body shaver for Wolfgang
- And so much more awesome stuffs!
Our undying gratitude and humble thanks to everyone that is willing to donate and support our endeavor. There is a special place in our rotten hearts for each and every single one of you funny little monsters.
Why the hell aren’t these guys on TV?
Corporate network television...listen up! We, your faithful viewers (and purchasers of the products you advertise) are hungry for something different. No more reality shows and late night infomercials, not when there is amazing stuff being produced independently. What happened to side-splitting comedy like the Carol Burnet Show? Or the great monster sitcoms of the 1960s? AND WHERE ARE OUR HORROR HOSTS!?
If you have ever thought the same thing, fear not…it’s back! The Ghouligans! are a monster comedy gang featuring a variety of characters inspired by the television and B-movie universe. The Munsters meets The Monkeys meets The Adams Family meets The Muppet Show meets Saturday Night Live (when it was good) meets Kids in the Hall in this hip, cheeky, retro-a-go-go sketch comedy show…flavored with delicious sprinkles of Scooby Doo, Gilligan’s Island, Beach Blanket Bingo, Hammer films, and Hee-Haw (knock it off … that was some funny sh*t, and you know it!).
The Ghouligans! follows the antics of Void (the Zombie), Wolfgang (the Werewolf) and Boris (the Frankenstein Monster) joined by a collection of your favorite classic monsters, including Krill Gill (the Sea Monster), and the sexy Go-Go Girls (Gi-Gi, Ginger, and Gia). Started in 2005 by Michael Koscik, Sean King, and Peter Bune, The Ghouligans! is the latest in brilliant underground/cult projects by Slack Pack Productions. Having success with the New York late night comedy sketch show Slacker TV and the sitcom spinoff The Slack Pack from 1997 till 2004, the guys brought together their love of classic comedy and horror to pay homage to old (and yet, very wise) styles of television and film…but, doing it in a very new and original way.
“What makes The Ghouligans! unique is our classic comedy approach to the famous monsters of the past (back when monsters were fun!). Viewers can always turn to us for an alternative to the extreme horror style of modern times. It is our mission to prove that horror, like life, can still be fun and funny in a world that has become very serious and dark. When you have had enough of Jersey Shore, Cop shows, and dancing with the stars,The Ghouligans! will take you back to a simple time in horror entertainment, while keeping true to the classic monster characters you love.” – Michael Koscik
The Ghouligans! have produced original web episodes, made numerous live appearances and convention tours, and have had three DVD releases, including the popular The Ghouligans! Super Show as well as their appearance on 100 Years of Monster Movies (www.100YMM.com) hosting The Last Man on Earth. Their team includes, music composer Paul T. Laino, special effects makeup artist Shane McGowin, video editor Joseph Palma and a small group of talented artists. Slack Pack Productions is currently producing a brand new TV series starring The Ghouligans!

It's the way this website works.
Every Kickstarter project must be fully funded before its time expires or no money changes hands.
1. It's less risk for everyone. If you need $5,000, it's tough having $2,000 and a bunch of people expecting you to complete a $5,000 project.
2. It allows people to test concepts (or conditionally sell stuff) without risk. If you don't receive the support you want, you're not compelled to follow through. This is huge!
3. It motivates. If people want to see a project come to life, they're going to spread the word.
You only get charged if we reach our goal. If we are not able to raise $10,000 then those that have already donated will not have their accounts charged.
