The Intro...

First of all, I can't thank you enough for taking the time to look at this project. It has been a dream for some time and so many people have given so much to move it to reality.  I would love to partner with you to bring my heart for worship to many.

The History...

I've always had a fascination with music and how it moves you. It can pick you up or bring you down. It has the ability to inspire, motivate, and build anticipation. Naturally worship is a great fit for me. It combined all the elements of music and interacting with God that brings me so much life. 

When I was 16 I began to teach myself how to play the guitar. I simply wanted to be able to worship on my own but Dave McDaniel encouraged me to accompany him in leading worship for the high school group. I still remember the first song I lead and how it captivated me. I loved how I got to use my creativity, my intuition, and my passion to lead people into God’s presence. It was unlike anything I had ever done and I was hooked. I began diving into worship music and I began to study different worship leaders’ styles and techniques. People such as Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Chris Tomlin, and many others began to help me shape the way I lead people to God through worship. 

I started dreaming about recording a worship album of my own. I began writing songs as soon as I started playing the guitar. I loved the creativity involved and how you could express yourself in your own completely unique way. For quite a while my songs would come and go. I rarely felt they expressed my heart for worship and I would quickly discard them. Around 2008, I began writing songs I believed stuck with me and conveyed my heart for God. Yet, to be honest, I never felt released to do anything with them. Although my dream was to record them I felt like it was not an option. 

Over the past 5 years, I have waited and continued to write. Over time the goal stopped being about recording these songs for an album and it moved into simply an expression of myself to God. From this experience, my writing style and my heart began to merge into this album.

During the past year, I have felt a release to begin finding a way to record what I feel God has given me. My goal is not to become famous. It is simply to move when He says move. I could not be more excited about this season and I can say confidently that now is the time.

The Funds...

A minimum of $4000.00 is needed to complete the album. The more we raise the more time and production can go into the project. All donations will assist in funding musicians, studio time, mastering and production.  If you have additional questions please don't hesitate to email me.
