About this project

I've had many great opportunities in my career. Winning Grand Prize in the "Show Me The Music" Contest and going to Nashville, Winning Oregon Idol and auditioning for American Idol, Opening for legends Tower of Power, having my songs on the WB & E! Networks...and more. But now I need YOU to help me fulfill my next big opportunity!

I have the chance to work with a talented Nashville Producer, write with hit Songwriters, record in Nashville's best Studios and have the finest session players (See Video!). Doing my album in Nashville with people of this caliber, will potentially bring my music to the national scene. I've already had many exciting opportunities come about with record labels and music publishers just from my ONE visit to Nashville this Fall.

This album will feature 10 brand new songs, including my multiple award winning song "HUSH" which I already tracked in Nashville (See Video!) When Artist Cindy Morgan, who has twenty-one #1 hit songs to her name, heard two of the songs from the upcoming album, she wrote: "Wow - love this girl. This song is amazing! I would love to write with you". As someone who has been a HUGE fan of Cindy's my whole life -- this was truly humbling and exciting.

I am very passionate about the music and lyrical content of my new songs. I have been through many personal changes in the past 3 years and the songs reflect this growth. Producer Jonathan Kingham and I are on the same page musically with the same vision. Our goal is a to create a fresh Soulful Pop record. Here is what he had to say:

It is a pleasure to work on a record with an artist who's vision is clearly defined and who is comfortable with who they are as an artist and a writer. I look forward to helping her create the right album that will open doors for her as a writer and singer."

The plan is to record the album in December 2011, do post-production in January 2012 - and release the completed album in February/March of 2012. But we can ONLY do this if you contribute now!
