We're at $200k!!!!
Dear Backers,
We're so thrilled to have reached $200,000 in funding! Thank you all for the continued commitment and support. And for all the positive comments we're receiving. It really means a lot to us that so many people are so excited about the work we're doing. It only makes us want to work harder for you.
The One About The Upgrades
Over the next few days we're planning a few more updates. The biggest question we've gotten is if we can upgrade the RAM to 1GB. We've been studying the implications of a design change at this point and what it would mean in terms of added delays (if any). We'll have an answer to you within the next few days. And if we can pack in that extra GB of RAM for all of you we promise we will. Stay tuned...
The One About Other Products
We've been asked quite often what the difference between the Pocket TV and other products out there is and we always say "no comment". We're not trying to be evasive but we also don't believe in criticizing other products. There are some great companies our there that make really cool devices. Every person needs to choose a one product or another based on what's right for them. After all, there wouldn't be iPhones and Samsung Galaxy's if there was only one right product to buy! All we can say is if you believe in us, you should back us. We won't let you down.
The One About The Podcast
The guys from Mind of the Geek were nice enough to Invite our founder Ahmad to do a podcast with them. They discussed how we created the Pocket TV, what's in store for the future and some other cool stuff about technology. You can find the interview here.
From all of us at Infinitec we'd like to thank you all for a great 13 days! We're proud to have come this far and grateful for your support. We can't wait till you get your hands on the Pocket TV and see this thing in action. More hands-on videos coming soon...

Pledged $145 can't wait for this device. I look forward to hearing about upgrades if possible.
Creator Betsy Detwiler on June 14, 2012
Love the choice of colors. Just pledged $280 to get my 2 Pocket Tvs and air remotes. Wondering how I get to choose the colors I want. When and how do I make my choices and can I get 2 different colors?
Can't wait to get them! Great job everyone!
Creator Derrick on June 14, 2012
Awesome, Thanks for the update. I will be listening to the podcast. Any updates on bluetooth? That might be a make or break feature I feel
Creator Ali Al-Mansouri on June 13, 2012
Great work you guys, it is exciting to see a project like this coming up together form within the region and has backers from round the world!
I agree with my fellow backers; Bluetooth will open more possibilities (i.e. using sixaxis controller app to hook up PS3 controller for gaming, BT remotes, keyboard, mouse and Bluetooth enabled sandwiches....when they start making them).
Also, more RAM...always go with more RAM! Don't over think it....Just look into my eyes and say yes we should! (People tend to multitask and any lag in responsively will be a turn down especially in this day and age).
Finally, I think it would be a great move if you release the kernel source code to open development and allow rooting, even if it “officially” voids the warranty; the android community will start working for you developing and tweaking the hell out of the pocket TV...You never know... you might like the consequences!

Hey guys, love the project! I scored an early bird special #1 but I was wondering if it is possible to up my pledge amount to upgrade to the Air Remote? I'm loving the Pebble remote idea too!!
Creator Daniel on June 12, 2012
Congrat man.
Cool! More RAM! Hope you can get more funding to even up for a faster built in storage or cpu. =-)
Creator Justin McDermott on June 12, 2012
I am sure that if money is the issue with getting the 1 GB of RAM, alot of us would be willing to put in the $5 or more pledge to get that going.
Creator renepilz on June 12, 2012
Pepple-Remote?
Wouldn't it be nice to control the PocketTV via Pebble?
Ok, I guess this is only possible if PocketTV will get BlueTooth (with currently isn't, if I'm not wrong).
So, maybe,.... would be nice :-)
Creator Gregg Reno on June 12, 2012
I would also pay a little more for a 1GB option
Creator Victor Losse on June 12, 2012
Yes I agree with the 1gb option. It is the single most overlooked feature of the new iPad that makes it a dream to use. I have no doubt it would be a very nice feature under Android as well. While these OSs are designed to be efficient there is no substitute for more memory when it comes to multitasking.
Creator Janardan Nathan on June 12, 2012
1GB Ram as option would be great! I wouldn't mind topping up on $ for more RAM.
Creator Derek Gordon on June 11, 2012
@John Listen to the Podcast. You'll hear the reasons why BT wasn't a part of the plan listed on the Kickstarter project. I bet a revision will bring BT around so long as this takes off. In the mean time, there are plenty of BT adapters that can be plugged into a USB hub to use with this device which would provide BT functionality.
Creator John Becknell on June 11, 2012
This sounds really great. Maybe bluetooth for a wireless Gamepad? Thanks guys..
Creator Matias Q. on June 11, 2012
Yayyy +1 on 1GB RAM... (I don't think we need more storage, 4gb are just fine, you can always add more with a highspeed microsd...)
Creator Braydon Connell on June 11, 2012
RAM upgrade to 1 GB would be awesome !
Creator Jonathan Wee on June 11, 2012
Besides memory, how about upping 4GB storage up to say 16 or 32 GB?
Creator David Glavich on June 11, 2012
Great Podcast Ahmad, now I really can't wait wow. I really believe that this technology is going to be a trendsetter for products. This should really take a bite out of some of the OEM's stronghold on desktop computers systems. Keep it coming.
Creator Derek Gordon on June 11, 2012
RAM would be awesome. A product that destroys the naysayers right out of the gate would be EVEN better. Awesome.
Creator James on June 11, 2012
i for one, would LOVE 1gb of ram!
Creator John Burmeister on June 11, 2012
+ 1 to 1GB of Ram!
