Crazy first 24 hours! Thank you for your support!
Hi Kickstarters!
It's been a crazy 24 hours full of thrill and excitement. We broke the $10,000 mark in less than 2 hours and now in less than a full day we're almost at $35,000. Needless to say we're floored with all the support from the worldwide community and we want to thank you all for a terrific kickstart to our project!
We promise to try to keep up with your questions, messages and emails and we'll keep you as updated as we can on our development and next steps. For now though we want to ask you all to keep tweeting, facebooking and telling your friends about the Pocket TV. We still need your help and support to successfully fund the Pocket TV and make this Kickstarter project one to remember.
More cool stuff to come soon!

@David Thanks for the support. We're still working on the final touches of the PTV and we'll announce more as soon as we can, BT included. Yes there's a 1 year warranty on the products. And finally the OS is on the PTV. We don't plan support for ubuntu any time soon. Thanks again.
@Ph Thanks for your support. Color options will be done later. Don't worry, you'll choose the one you want.

hi, i've pledged 135 and an additional 10 for shipping, there is no option to choose colors (want white) or will this be determined later on?
Thanks,
phil

I am also excited for your company, you touched base on the adding or boosting the ram to 1 gig. Had there been any enhancements to get the BT to work as well, or will there be any announcements moving forward. On another thought will there be any warranty for your product, and do you have any insight to how that will work. On another note does the android OS reside on a chip inside the device, and will there be any support for ubuntu or any other OS' in the future. I have pledged for 2I hope your company of geeks(in a good way), have thought about it, this design is going to turn the desktop computer market on its ear, to be frank. Lots of luck and I am wishing your company the best.

@Khem Yes you get both the IR Remote and the Air Remote. Please don't forget to add the shipping costs ($10 if you are in US or Canada and $15 anywhere else).

Hi, Ive pledge $135. Does this come with the normal remote too?

@Derek We will definetely put dual-band wifi on our product roadmap. But we think that GPS would be overkill for a product that will probably remain stationary most of it's life. However, you can still access location services such as google maps using the information from the wifi signal. We've done it and it works even if it's not as accurate as GPS.
@Michael We are working on that at the moment. But so far with all the test we've done we're extremely psyched about what it can do with 512MB of ram.
Creator Michael Sahai on June 1, 2012
It would also be great if it came with 1GB of ram instead of 512 to futureproof itself
Creator Derek Gordon on May 31, 2012
I would hope to see the following in the final kit:
1. GPS unit
2. Dual-band WiFi
