Wheelchair Sports Camp was invited to New York City's 2011 CMJ Music Marathon.  This years festival Oct 18-22 will bring over 1,300 bands to over 80 of New York's finest music venues.  A place where fans, musicians, and filmakers meet music industry professions, college radio tastemakers, bloggers, and press.

As great of an opportunity this is, CMJ cannot provide any guaranteed compensation for the Denver based band.  They play Oct 21 in Manhattan @ Kenny's Castaways and Oct 22 at Syracuse University with hopefully some more dates to be added.  This would be the band's first time in New York as a group.  The University of Syracuse has agreed to fly Kalyn out to the gig, however the rest of the band will have to pay completely out of pocket to make the trip.  That's where you come in.  

If successful, we will raise enough money to pay for a couple plane tickets, a hotel for a night or two and possibly a train ticket.  It would be great if all four of us could represent the Sports Camp crew in the Big Apple for one of the biggest college festivals in the country.  If every one of our Facebook fans donated $1.50, we'd reach our goal tonight!
