Help me participate in the Amherst Early Music Festival Baroque Opera Academy as the role of Rosidette in a Telemann opera buffo!
Help support an up and coming early music soprano and opera singer by giving me the chance to attend the prestigious Amherst Early Music Festival's Baroque Opera Academy. I have been cast as the lead soprano in Telemann's "Der geduldige Socrates" at the Baroque Academy this July in New London, CT. This project is a "pay to sing", which is a vital part of any singer's education. One pays for the educational experience and the chance to perform roles and gain exposure.
The festival is a wonderful chance to interact with renowned faculty members immersed in the New York and Boston Early music scenes. Funds cover workshop fees, housing, and board. This week-long workshop features masterclasses with Julianne Baird, renowned early music soprano, repertoire classes, and the chance to put together an entire opera in less than seven days!
