About this project
What's this all about?
There are two goals associated with this project:
1. To make a lot of people laugh.
2. To create a community sponsorship supporting the World Premiere of THE KRUMBLIN FOUNDATION, written and performed by Joe Conley Golden and Tom Willmorth. Commissioning, developing and producing a brand new piece of theater costs more than picking a script off of the shelf and staging it. New work takes more time and money. Tom, Joe and BCT are reaching out to our community of friends, family and theater fans to make this new play possible. Rest assured that every dime raised through this kickstarter project will go directly to actual costs of producing the World Premiere of THE KRUMBLIN FOUNDATION.
Benefits at each level are cumulative, meaning if you pledge $100 you will receive a signed script, a free drink, your name in the program, entry into the "your name in the play" drawing and Tom & Joe's eternal love.
Whats the play about?
Bess Krumblin, the wealthiest widow in town, has grand plans for the family fortune: to sink it all into a massive arts foundation, and transform the region into a "cultural mecca." Soon everyone wants a slice of the funding pie, including her greedy children, harebrained advisors, government cronies, and every would-be artist/actor/dancer/painter/musician in the area. All played by Joe and Tom, of course.
