The Boise Backcountry Adventures book covers hiking, trail running, canyoneering, and light mountaineering in the Boise, ID region. It focuses on destinations that are conveniently close to Boise (all within 100 miles)--primarily in the Boise Front, the Owyhee Front, and the Boise National Forest. The book is very detailed and contains nearly 300 maps, elevation profiles, and photographs.
After ten years in the making, the book is finally complete, but still unprinted due to the high upfront cost of printing. The book is a very informative and will be a real asset to anyone who enjoys exploring Idaho's massive outdoor playground. My goal is to go to print by early September so the book can be available for the fall hiking/trail running season.
