A bit more than a bed and breakfast.
MOMENTS LEFT HELP US GET TO 14,000!
We are just moments away and we cannot thank you enough for all of your continuing support. This movie is on its way to becoming a reality and it's all because of you. That said, we are still far from done. We still need to raise funds and gather donations for food, hard drives, and transportation!
Please continue to donate and encourage your friends to donate!

We Want Your Old Stuff!!
The House on Cox Curve is a giant collage of art, love and junk! If you have furniture, games, toys, lamps, rugs, or a box full of slightly off putting tchotchkes or dolls that you don't know what to do with, give them to us! We will come get them from you!
We are looking to make this house a mixture of us and you- of all the old memories and knickknacks that make us who we are!
So please don't hesitate to contact us with anything you might want to contribute to the film.
Our film, The House on Cox Curve, takes place over one weekend. The Jeffersons, an otherwise typical couple, drag their begrudging teenage daughter to a family weekend away at what they assume to be a quaint bed and breakfast. Unbeknownst to them, the inn-keepers of this unique establishment (an older couple and their very handsome grandson) pride themselves in creating unique adventures for their guests. What is supposed to be a relaxing family weekend becomes anything but. The weekend runs from the macabre, to the ridiculous, to the sublime and everything in between. The Jeffersons return home after an adventure they are sure never to forget and we hope our film will do the same for you.
About the Project
My name is Sophie Finkelstein and The House on Cox Curve is an exciting short film project by a group of talented young filmmakers. The story we want to tell is about a place that I grew up with, my grandparents' house. My grandmother was an old Hollywood actress named Geraldine Fitzgerald. When I learned that her house was to be sold, I wanted pay homage to her and the house and figured a film was the perfect way to do so.
My friend Eamon O’Rourke, the writer and director of this film, and I went out to the house to try to find that story. Eamon imagined a quirky comedy about one very straight Upper East Side family’s weekend away at a unique bed and breakfast. The proprietors of the house are Sunshine and Lightning, an inn-keeping couple who have devoted themselves to making this house a place where guests will learn to find adventure together, whether they want to or not.
We too are finding the adventure in togetherness, and this project is, above all else, about collaboration. From its origin, The House on Cox Curve has been the product of organic and whole-hearted collaboration from my wonderfully talented crew of artists and filmmakers. Each member of the team is taking time off from their professional endeavors to pile into my house, roll up their sleeves, and make a movie.
We Need Your Help
With your help we can tell a hilarious story that will give a group of hard working young filmmakers a chance to show that they have the abilities and determination to execute a project of this scale. We need to pay for equipment, art, a camera!, vehicles, gas, food, water, bedding and most importantly to pay our crew! We can't thank you enough for taking the time to learn about our project. We hope you will contribute and help us make this script come to life and give a bunch of hard working and talented people a chance to shine!
P.S. You will also give us a chance to make a film worthy enough to have an awesome screening party that you, with your generous contribution, will cordially be invited to join us at!
