you smell like whiskey and bad choices is a collaborative theater project created by Raw Sugar of Minneapolis, MN. 

Raw Sugar was founded in 2011 with the desire to make adventurous and imaginative theater projects driven by women. In 2009, Raw Sugar's three co-founders Rebekah Rentzel, Shawny Sena, and Jenny Moeller, met while interning at the regional theater in Portland, Maine. When native Minneapolitian Jenny Moeller returned home, she lured the other two to the Twin Cities with the siren song of collaborative theater and friendship.

you smell like whiskey and bad choices follows three women who wake up after a night of wild drinking to find one big problem. As they embark on an absurd adventure, the boozy bosom buddies get swept up in a mystery of epic proportions while trying to answer the age old question, "What the hell happened last night?!?"

We are excited to be working on our third show together. We are even more excited to be presenting the show both at the first ever PortFringe Festival in Maine and as part of the 2012 Minnesota Fringe Festival.

In order to create, design and produce the show, we need some help. Even small shows have a budget. We need costumes, postcards, a set, props and, of course, puppets. There are other expenses like festival fees and travel costs to produce a show in two states. We would appreciate any financial support. Every little bit counts and every dollar means a lot to us. And we have come up with some fun ways to say thank you.

Maine and Minnesota are very important to us. Both places have supportive and active arts scenes, and we cannot wait to be a part of each this summer. And these places need whiskey and bad choices!
