Soooo we reached our goal of $4000 and that is great! We only put 1/2 of what we needed as a goal because Kickstarter is an all or nothing type of thing. Please feel free to pledge because you are still getting great rewards at great prices! 

Volume I - “The Adventure Begins” with research, chartering and visits to the boat shows to find the right boat.  We close the deal on Vicarious and begin coastal cruising and making minor improvements.

Volume II – “Year of the Refit” We cover an extensive year-long remodeling of our 35 year old sailboat.  Replacing the electrical and plumbing systems, installing new winches and an anchor windlass, several welding and rigging projects, a haul out where we replace thru-hulls, bottom painting, fiberglass repairs and much more.

Volume III – “Outfitting a boat for long-range cruising” We cover the replacement of our 80 HP diesel motor, installation of a feathering propeller, radar, wind generator, solar panels, diesel generator, washing machine, water maker, AIS, life raft, EPIRB, and anything else that we thought we may need aboard during our adventure.

Volume IV – “Cruising the U. S. East Coast – Maine to Miami” This leg of our journey includes Somes Sound, Penobscot Bay, Boothbay Harbor, Isles of Shoals, Boston, Provincetown, Cape Cod Canal, Newport, Block Island, Mystic, New York City, Atlantic City, Philadelphia, C & D Canal, Chesapeake Bay, Intracoastal Waterway, The Great Dismal Swamp, Southport, Beaufort, Charleston, Savannah, St Augustine, Miami, and much more.

Volume V – “Cruising to Paradise – Miami to the British Virgin Islands” This leg includes The Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, The U. S. Virgin Islands, and The British Virgin Islands.

Volume VI – “Cruising throughout the Eastern Caribbean” St Martin, St Barts, Antigua, Barbuda, St Kitts, Nevis, Guadeloupe, Isle de Saints, Dominica, Martinique, St Lucia, Bequia, Tobago Cays, St Vincent, Petite Martinique, The Grenadines, and Grenada.

The first two volumes are complete.  Our pledge goal of $4000 will cover half of our post-production costs for the four new DVDs, so anything more is really needed.  Please help us reach our goal by choosing one of the pledges on the right.  You will then create a simple Kickstarter account and Amazon account to process your pledge with a credit card that will not be charged until June 27th – only if we reach our goal of $4000.  We will then send you your DVDs or set up a time and a place for your sailing trip.
