Dirty Bird Entertainment and AK Productions has collided to bring forth a dark drama that will lead you to question beauty. Our production companies plan to submit the 15 minute version of the film into film festivals within the United States, in order to seek money for the feature. 

We are only asking for $500 to successfully complete the film, String Along.

SYNOPSIS:
Mary is a graceful dancer who blends with the shadows to mask her disfigured appearance. She soon falls in love with a music composer, Roman and witness sexual euphoria for the first time. Under his entrapment, Mary finds herself on a siege of cosmetic surgeries and is plunged into perfection. However, without Mary’s external handicap guiding her grace, there is no pain, no sorrow, no emotion conducting her movements, therefore, Mary will dance no more. In an act of hast, Roman seizes Mary's life and does unconventional acts to her corpse, in attempt to forever retain Mary's everlasting grace across the center stage.

Although this dark drama does not conclude here, be prepared for one more twists and turns that will urge one to ask for more. 

PRE-PRODUCTION:

The pre-production process is complete, along with the AD breakdown. The storyboards consists of 60 pages with 200 frames.The script is registered, copyrighten, and has been marked and separated into eighths.

CREDENTIALS:

The members partaking in this production started out as film students at Los Angeles City College, Woodbury University, and the University of Southern California. As recent graduates, we are now working as freelance filmmakers in California. Together as a group and as individual we have shot speck Doritos commercials, a Metro Transit promotional video which screened on Metro Transit for a year, partaking on many music videos, and we have also worked on many independent films and film trailers. We are passionate for creating stories that tell a story and push the human condition, driving in viewers is our main concept and goal. Our crew love film and the process of moviemaking.


The funds we receive will go directly to renting out equipment: i.e. cameras, lights, grip equipment (apple boxes, C-stands, silks, flags, etc...), craft services, costuming, hair & make-up, and location rentals.
