Introducing the new Kinetic Kindle3 Dock.
The newest member of the Kinetic family. Notice that the gear arm is towards the right, since the Kindle 3 rotates towards the right to go into landscape reading mode. Also the dock will have its own micro usb charging cable. 
It has all the same great features as the Kinetic iPhone dock except that it cannot be wall mounted. It uses the same Kinetic theme with rotating gears.

Gears in motion is the principal inspiration of the design. Gears have existed since the invention of machines. Early gears were made of wood and used cylindrical pegs for rotation. Such wooden gears were used in windmills and water wheels. By combining the kinetics of wooden gears into an iphone dock, it invokes the earliest technological revolutions that led to present day of high tech gadgets. 
The rotating gears change the iphone's orientation from portrait to landscape and vice versa. The rotating hinged base provides the capability of using the dock as a desk dock or a wall mounted dock using the iphone's very own wall charger. It comes with its own usb charging cable, so your phone can be charged using the wall adapter or your computer. Once mounted all the buttons of the iphone are accessible and so there is no limitation to its functionality. 
The dock is made of a superior quality solid cherry, a wood loved in America. Cherry wood's beauty grows with time and it turns to a deeper red. The iphone mount is machined to perfectly fit a caseless iphone and maintain its position even in landscape orientation. It is hand finished after rough machining and so every dock will be unique. Since 3G/3GS and 4G are quite different in shape and size different models of dock will be available for each of the iphones. The dock comes in a shiny finish that enhances cherry's natural beauty and gives protection.

We are really passionate about the idea and need resources and tools to craft a fine product. We intend to make a super quality product and bring it to as many fans as we can.
