A new wooden jigsaw puzzle using an image of my fabric art. Over 400 small pieces, including lots of whimsies!

Last October, thanks to Kickstarter, the wooden jigsaw puzzle Phoenix was born. Consisting of 254 delightfully whimsical pieces, it was made for me by Liberty Wooden Puzzles, of Boulder Colorado. I'd like to do another wooden jigsaw puzzle, again produced by Liberty.  This time, the puzzle will be larger (over 400 pieces), and will still have wonderful whimsies included in the cutting pattern.

As with Phoenix, I'll sign the back of each puzzle, giving each a number (as in a limited-edition artist's print).

I know which hanging I want to use as the image for my new puzzle, but I've got a problem; even though this piece has been hanging over my couch for the last year and a half, it still needs a name! The Liberty cut which I'd like to use for it has lots of frogs, as well as some birds, leaves, and a dragonfly. So my working title for the puzzle is Frogpond. But, if one of you Kickstarters comes up with a better name for me, I'll send you a small something as a thank-you.

Here's an image of Liberty's cut:

I'm offering lots of different rewards; look to the right for a complete list. Let me give you links to images of the higher level rewards:

For $200, I'll send you my new puzzle, plus 2 couch pillows of your choice. You can see the choices here.

For $1,400, I'll send you one of th2 bedquilts I currently have available:

Quadrille Boogie

Ripple

I received lots of comments from folks who purchased my Phoenix puzzle through Kickstarter. Here's a sampling:

"I absolutely loved Phoenix! Before working on your puzzle, I didn't do puzzles. I didn't even like puzzles. But, then again, most puzzles are nothing like your puzzle. The whimsical shapes and vibrant colors, along with the fact that the pieces are wooden, combined to make this a winner. The image of the quilt was gorgeous." -- RW, Augusta ME

"The other day, Ricki and I were looking to enjoy some down time on a rainy day and I mentioned to Ricki that when I was a kid we sometimes did jigsaw puzzles on rainy days. She said, hey, I just got one and broke your beauty out. We opened it and put it together without looking at the picture as per your suggestion. Not only is the image of your work breathtakingly beautiful, the fanciful cutting added another fantastic dimension to the whole. Great job!"      -- JE, Ashfield MA

" I had a quiet afternoon, after much holiday festivities - the perfect time to get out your puzzle...
It is just lovely to do...  The shapes, the feel of the pieces, the lovely way even the tiniest irregularities fit together, not to mention the colors and picture."        -- KR, Providence RI
