In the days that followed Jessica Pritchett's demise those who were close to her in life began to report mysterious happenings in their homes. Some claimed to have seen an apparition of Jessica with burning eyes and the horns of a goat. Others reported strange tapping noises at their windows and haunting laughter on the night wind.  Milk curdled throughout the village, children manifested strange scratches on their bodies, and everyone was afraid. Indeed, it seemed that Jessica's hell-bound spirit was seeking its revenge.

The village clergy and a handful of volunteers decided to enter Winter Wood and confront the spirit directly. They returned two days later, forever changed and unwilling to discuss what had happened to them in the woods. Whatever trial they had been through, it seemed to work. Jessica Pritchett's ghost was never seen again.

Thanks to your swift exorcism we'll be upgrading the final book to contain full color inserts of George Contronis' artwork. This is the last of our milestones for the campaign. The success of the project has far exceeded our expectations (as I write this, the update for the 400% milestone, we've almost hit 450%) and we're excited that we'll be able to produce such a high quality book. At this point, any additional funding will go toward increasing the size of our print run and financing future projects.
