Ron Paul decides to go on a musical tour and voice his campaign through the prevalent musical genres of each city he visits.
"Ron Paul: The Musical" is scheduled to play at The Blue Room Theatre in Chico, California on April 13th and 14th at 10:30pm.
This is an original sketch comedy/musical written by Cameron Ford. Our story follows Ron Paul on tour as he voices his campaign through the prevalent musical genre of each city he visits. Jazz, Punk, Country, etc. There's a little something for everybody...
Cameron is currently putting on this same musical in Chicago and it has been getting really great reviews. We've made quite a few tweaks to the script but the biggest one is that rather than just casting one person to play Ron Paul... we're casting eight. Duncan Alexander, an experienced comic and performer from Los Angeles, will handle all of the dialogue as the lead-Ron Paul. Sharing the role and showcasing their musical talent will be local musicians: Garrett Gray, Nolan Ford, Jack Knight, Justin Wood, Scott Itamura, Cameron Ford, and Jeremy Gerrard.
The rest of the cast will include Karoline Farris (Paula) and Nolan Ford (Ernie) - Ron Paul's two campaign managers fighting their own battle with a forbidden romance. Oooh la la!
