Just an update on the project real quick. I've been having some problems with the weather delaying things. There've been scattered thunderstorms here every afternoon for the past week & so I haven't been able to get work done on the finished wood boxes. So I am going to figure out a way to get them sheltered from a storm yet not stinking up my whole house. Hopefully they'll be done next week. Thanks for your interest & support.

The project end is closing in (probably some of you are reading it after it closes). I'm really happy & excited about the interest you all had in it. It usually takes a few days for Kickstarter to process the payments, so after that I'll be contacting you to get your mailing addresses & to find out the colors you want for those of you who ordered painted boxes.
I did get some foam cubes that I'm planning to use to help design some more puzzles. So I may have something new ready for you in time for Christmas if you are interested. I'm also thinking about getting the tools I'd need to make super massive sized boxes (like a foot in size), but I'm scared to find out what the shipping would be on those as far as making them available in general. We'll see what happens with that.

So a little while ago a local website interviewed me about the Soma Boxes. You can read the interview right over here.
Today I ordered some of the wood. Maybe all of the wood as I ordered enough to make twice as many boxes as are currently ordered. That way I can go ahead & get a jump on making the boxes so I can get them out to you in a timely manner.
I have no idea how to get in touch with people that would be interested in this project, so if you know anyone that would be into puzzle boxes, please let them know about it.

I wanted to thank you all for backing the project, to be honest I didn't anticipate this much interest this early on. It's making me daydream about working on the new designs & wanting to go ahead & order the wood to start working on them.
I noticed a lot of folks are going for the bigger sized puzzles rather than the small ones & I find that interesting. It makes me wonder, would any of you be interested in even larger puzzle boxes? Like a 6x6 box? Here's the catch, the blocks to make the boxes that size end up being 5 times the price. If you'd be interested in a larger one, put a comment about it or send me a personal note & I'll add the possibility for the boxes in the larger size....
