Hey guys, my name is Jae!
I am originally from Houston, TX and I've been animating since the second grade. I'm the dude who secretly made the real life meme images for the internet a while back 0:
I moved with my girlfriend to LA in 2011 to pursue a career in animation. After 6 months of living in LA and freelancing, I sold my cartoon show to a studio and have been working there ever since. However, my whole production has just been put on hold because of some funding issues -- but now I've got another idea!
If you fund this, your money wouldn't be put to waste. I work around 14 hours a day including weekends and I'm used to it. Hopefully having no social life will play in my favor this time, haheha!
- Just to set the record straight: The show wont have any nudity or anything like that, I just thought it'd be funny to act like drawing weiners and goofing off was a part of my animation training! ;D (I just want you guys to see my type of humor)
- But Jae... how much will every episode last? Just as long as it takes to tell each story, dude! Probably around a minute or 2 each but I'm not going to be worried about how long each video is. My main focus will be how funny and coherantly complete each story is. Don't worry, I am not the type of guy to abuse not having a time restriction -- I always push myself! But yeah, nothing too short... I'm not gonna take advantage of anyone; Each episode will have a beginning, middle, and end!
- $15,000.00!?!?! ARE YOU F***ING CRAZY!?!? Wooah, relax man! ... 9% will go to kickstarter and amazon, $6,000 will be for a workstation (cintique, computer stuff, audio equip; all of my current equipment is from the studio I work for) $4,500 for 3 months rent, $3,000 for food, and $750 is for utilities... I should just about break even!
- Yeah, but... What's the story!? There is no story line, just 12 individual, unrelated, funny stories!
