Relentless & Associates is excited to bring you a compact, tense thriller, "In The Eyes." Written and directed by Christopher Kubasik, this character-driven short film will star Jack Conley and Kate Maberly and be lensed by cinematographer Brooks Guyer.

To pique your interest, here's a brief synopsis: 

Jack, a criminal enforcer, makes his morning call to get his day's errands from the folks who pay him. There's a knock at the door. At the door is Jessica, a young woman Jack has never seen before. She's tense and nervous and needs to hire Jack to kill someone. But she's not there for that - not really. She's there because she's been looking for the man who killed her mother when she was a little girl. And she thinks Jack is that man. She's armed and determined. And once she gets into Jack's apartment she needs to find out if he's the man she's come to kill...

Cast and crew are locked in, pre-production is well underway, post-production elements are already falling into place. We're looking to secure the funding for our shoot. All we need is a little help from fine people like you! The money raised will go toward equipment, locations, production design, sound editing, craft services, and other assorted aspects of production.

Christopher Kubasik, the movie's writer and director. Among other projects, Christopher created and wrote an original Internet series called "The Booth at the End," produced by Michael Eisner's Tornante Company. The film stars Kate Maberly and Jack Conley. 

British born Kate Maberly began her acting career at age eight. Her big break, however, came in 1992 when she was cast as the lead in the feature film version of The Secret Garden(1993). This critically acclaimed performance as the orphaned girl Mary Lennox, soon led to prominent roles in The Langoliers (1995) (TV),Gulliver’s Travels (1996) (TV) and the BBC drama Mothertime (1997) (TV). In fall 2004, Kate has appeared alongside Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet in Finding Neverland(2004). More recently she appears with Toni Collette in Like Minds (2006), the comedy Popcorn (2007), and the horror film Boogeyman 3 (2008). You can see Kate's full credits here.

Jack Conley's acting career has spanned television and film over three decades. He appeared in Heaven's Gate, L.A. Confidential, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Cell, House M.D., Supernatural, and the upcoming transmedia series The Booth at the End, among many other projects. You can see all of Jack's credit's here.
