About this project

Greetings Movie Lovers!

The crew and cast of "The Evening Room" thank you for taking the time to view our trailer and hope you will consider being a part of our project. The Evening Room was written after receiving an Arts Council grant in Spring of 2010. Co-writers (Marina Shemwell and Victoria Jorgensen) created the screenplay through a unique collaborative process, each separately writing five pages per week and then meeting weekly to massage those pages into a script format. After several months of drafts, the final piece was presented to a group of actors at Performer's Studio Workshop in Tampa, Florida. The actors performed a showcase for the Writers, Producer/Director Victoria Jorgensen and Director of Photography Curtis Graham.

With casting complete, locations and crew were secured and production took place the last three days of August in Tampa and Tarpon Springs, Florida. After spending three fourteen hour days in near 100 degree temperatures, shooting what could easily have been an eleven day shoot, cast and crew became family. We ask you to become part of "The Evening Room" family with the gift of your choice so we can complete post production, compensate the actors, and begin the Festival Entry/Distribution process.

Thanks for supporting the Arts!
