Atlantis, all that you know is about change in the blink of an eye. Prepare yourself for a retelling of the greatest story never told.

In November of 2009 I was injured in a work related accident which left me partially disabled in my left hip. I was laid up in bed for three month in recovery as I was not able to walk. I had a lot of time on my hand and didn’t know what to do with it. There was only so long a person can surf the web before it gets boring.

One day I decided to write a short story about an ordinary man in an extraordinary situation. The more I began to write, the more in depth I got. I started to write about things in my past and incorporated elements of my own culture into it. Day after day the story got longer but the end was not in sight.

It was like someone took possession of my mind and body. I quickly understood what it meant for a story to become believable as those with no knowledge of the Hmong culture would read it and go “huh”. It was then that I incorporated the element of science for my story to be believable. After three months of continues writing, my book was done. A work of art if I do say so myself.

Homeland is a fictional book about the lost continent of Atlantis and its history. Where exactly is it but more importantly, where did it go? Do any of the original inhabitants survive the cataclysmic event and if so, where are they now? Why do they not know where they come from?

Sadly, the book sat in my computer for almost a year due to the lack of funding to publish it. I poured everything into this book including creating an entire alphabet, a game and a backdrop. This first book has already been written with three others in the making. With your help and a little elbow grease, I hope to share my story with the world.

Thank you for your support.
