Grindr is a social networking app for gay and bi men to chat or hook-up.  The story told through the Grindr Diaries is how the app started as simple chats and trading pictures and later became all consuming - flaming a sexual addiction.  It contains stories such as pulling off the highway on the way to a business meeting to quickly have sex with someone or having sex in the bathroom at the Admirals Club at DFW in Dallas during a layover.  It explores the emotional consequences of being seen and judged solely as a sexual object; the real life consequences of any addiction (withdrawal from healthy relationships, effects on job performance, etc.).  And how does one navigate the 24/7 availability of horny men without it taking over your life.  It explores the question of how to create a healthy sexual life in light of available technology.
