We've launched an exciting new project of our own! Introducing the Kickstarter app for iPhone!

Funded! This project successfully raised its funding goal on August 19, 2012.

And they're gone!

Update #3 · Oct 11, 2012 · 2 comments

I've been really bad at updating this bad boy, as opposed to the SA Thread, but the shirts have been printed and, as of today, have been shipped out care of the United States Postal Service. (With a thank you and much love to several fine clerks at the Pittsburgh area Post Offices for handling these bulk shipments right at 5 o'clock!)

If you're receiving an email about this update, then you should also have an email from the USPS with your tracking number as well. Due to some mishaps on my end, some luck people ended up with several emails with differing tracking numbers, the rule of thumb is that the last one you received will have the valid number. If you are confused, my own email address is CC'ed in the USPS email or you can message me directly on Kickstarter and I can pull up your tracking number on my end. Note: as far as I can tell, the USPS does not track international parcels. I do have the customs form ID numbers for all international packages and we can use that to track down packages if needed, but it's not a tracking number in the normal sense.

I'll make a much more entertaining and informative post in the SomethingAwful thread later tonight, as I have to run. But I do have to say that I'm really glad that everything came together for this shirt. I'm definitely pleased with the results and would recommend Commonwealth Press to anyone, as they really know their stuff.

The Kickstarter is over and now the work begins

Update #2 · Aug 19, 2012 · 4 comments

Again, I'd like to thank everyone that backed this project and especially those that backed more than needed to see this thing launch.

Shortly, everyone who backed and claimed a reward tier will be receiving a survey via email. This surveys is needed before we can place the orders. The address information is all bog standard stuff that I need not explain here. Instead, I will take the time to explain the shirt size questions as I was provided with limited space to do so in the survey.

We specifically chose American Apparel for our blanks so that we could not only offer a women's cut for those that want it, but so that it would be of the same color. The AA wholesale webpage for the unisex/men's cut and the women's cut contains two links (titled "Size Chart" and "Specifications") that detail the various measurements of the shirts and should be used to ensure that you get a properly fitting and sized shirt. Due to the nature of this venture, it should be stressed that we won't be able to offer a replacement if the shirt ordered is too big or small.

Next is that, to make my life easier, I ask that everyone use a simple coded form to answer the "Shirt Size" questions. The first letter represents which cut, "U" for unisex/men's and "W" for women's. Next, after a dash, the letters for the actual size, meaning: "S" for small, "M" for medium, and "L" for large, with "X" for extra, as needed. So an extra large women's shirt should be listed as "W-XL" and a medium unisex/men's shirt would be "U-M." And if you order more than one shirt, please use the addition shirt size questions.

If anybody has any further questions, feel free to ask in the comments section, in the forum threads, or via direct communication with me through Kickstarter. I will do my best to answer all questions promptly.

We did it!

Update #1 · Aug 19, 2012 · comment

With two and a half hours to spare, we reached our goal! There's still time to get your buds in on this, but the project is fully backed now.

Thanks to everyone who contributed, especially those that had no connection to SA and those who increased their pledges to make this a reality.
