We are raising the seed The Walls Of Peace film. We will need more than this amount to complete the film, but it is important to first capture the interviews around the world. This film will create diverse opportunities to facilitate development of youth leadership, artistic expression, creative enrichment, and active citizenship. It sows the seeds of change and touches the lives of others. It is in the passing of the torch. The lighting of the candle of Peace …  of Hope … of Change.

There are times, in our lives, when we are called to do our part, to change the world. Filmmaker Michael Aku RoDriguez and Muralist, Jo Dufo have come together to do just that. That's why we need your help to make this. 

By donating, you will help us make this film and get the message out to hopefully millions of people. 

The Walls Of Peace gives voice to the international cry for peace. This film will place a special emphasis on the cross-section of ideologies of peace, the communal creation of art and peace murals, and reflections on human civil rights, community development everywhere if the funds can be found to do the work properly.

HOW KICKSTARTER WORKS

Kickstarter is a new way to fund creative ideas and ambitious endeavors. Kickstarter is powered by a unique all-or-nothing funding method where projects must be fully-funded or no money changes hands. In other words, if we don’t raise our goal of $36,000, we lose everything. Once we have reached our goal we will contact you to get your address and then we will start working on getting those awesome incentives (at right, ahem) to you!

HOW TO PLEDGE

Just click the green “Back This Project” button in the upper right-hand corner. You will be asked to input your pledge amount and select a reward. From there, you will go through the Amazon checkout process. You must finish the Amazon checkout process for your pledge to be recorded.

WHAT IF WE DON’T REACH OUR GOAL?

If funding fails, all pledges are canceled and that's that. Your card is not charged, it’s like nothing ever happened. We hope this doesn’t happen! Those 60 days will fly by, donate today! 

INTERESTED IN PLAYING AN EVEN LARGER ROLE ON THE FILM?

There is a Co-Executive Producer credit available at $50,000, an Executive Producer credit at $60,000 and a Presenting Partner / Executive Producer credit at $80,000. Your name will appear in the credits for all Festivals, multi-city Theatrical, Some International TV. And IMDB of course! 

Please note that these are honorary titles and do not engender any creative or business involvement/decision-making nor does the credit entitle any claim of ownership.

Here’s a breakdown of how we plan to use the funds:

• a. Pay for shooting interviews – cost of crews (camera, director), and    equipment. 

• b. Pay for flights, car rental, and lodging around the world. Africa, Haiti, Brazil, Australia, Hungary, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, and Bangladesh.

• c. Pay for Art supply & rental - cost of brushes, paint, drop clothes, scaffolding, sprayers, and generator.
