About this project

Frank and I grew up in the 90’s listening to punk and hardcore. Frank plays the drums and I play guitar, and though we’ve both dabbled with recording music, we’ve never managed to fully realize the dream of our youth: to put out a 7 inch record.

We’re reaching the age where we may just have to accept that we’ll never be rockstars. But that doesn’t mean we have to give up our dream of putting out a 7 inch. Every week, we put out Frank & Erik Internet Famous, a one-hour comedy podcast. Our loyal listeners know that we’re not quick to let a dream die (cue inspiring music), so we plan to record our own Frank & Erik Internet Famous 7 inch.

We got a great deal on colored vinyl, so here’s the breakdown (You'll notice it's a bit different from what we mentioned in the video. That's because we decided to do our research AFTER recording the video. Smart, I know).

$500 gets us 100 records
+ $250 mails 100 records
+ $75 pays the fees we get charged for collecting that money

(Any amount that we're able to collect over $825 will be used toward hosting, buttons and our next wacky project. What I mean to say here is that it will get pumped right back into the show.)

Frank will be designing the artwork for the record, which we will be hand-folding and stuffing into sleeves ourselves unless we can somehow trick Turbo Chad into doing it for us.
