Celebrating
So many reasons to celebrate.
Even though this project is 86% away from its goal - I have already won. Making up that 86% in the next 35 hours would just be icing on the cake.
This Kickstarter project – just as so many other phases in the development of Kim’s Closet - has been amazing. I have been introduced to, led to and run into the most positive, supportive, talented and inspirational people at every turn.
Yes, we only have 35 hours left to raise a minimum of $8,521 here on Kickstarter – and we want that to happen. However, there is a bigger lesson, picture and experience that this platform has afforded me: When the student is ready; the teacher will appear.
That teacher can be in the form of most anything; anyone. A simple stranger smiling at me when I have had a tough day, to a random person sharing our project – that led to a new backer – to the letters & e-mails of support, to SVP’s of huge corporations calling to inspire me to “keep going.”
