Update #9: MxNM Development Continues

Posted on October 21, 2010

Hey there... Sorry to have been so quiet lately. I spent the summer working with two friends opening a restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. You can find out more about it here. Anyhow, I am back to work actively developing my MxNM concept. For those of you interested in the direction it is taking, you can join the forum, sign up for the mailing list, and read updates at the official MxNM site. You can also read more in depth about the development process at my blog.

Thanks again for your support. I look forward to completely a new version of MxNM in the very near future.

Update #8: MxNM LE Update to Be Submitted for Approval This Week

Posted on June 10, 2010

MxNM LE the limited functionality version of MxNM has been well received by iPad users around the world. It has also proven to be a great sandbox for developing the ideas that will be implemented in the full version. This week, (or early the next) the last major update to MxNM LE (for a while at least) will be submitted to the app store. This update will allow users to label the tracks and pads. One set of labels will be saved. In the future, support for several (or perhaps unlimited) sets of labels will be implemented.

This update has allowed me to delve deep into core data and database programming in the iPhone SDK. These technologies are essential to the completion of the full version of MxNM.

I'll keep you posted.

Update #7: Thank you

Posted on April 28, 2010

As you probably know by now, my project was successfully funded. Thank you for that.

So now what? I'll be getting in touch with you as needed to fulfill your reward(s). Postcards are going out to the printer no later than tomorrow and will be headed to you early next week. I'm tying up some loose ends here and there and will be beginning work on the full version of MxNM in the next few days.

I'll keep you posted as to the progress of the application's development.

Thanks again,
Jameson

What's going on now? Any updates?

Update #6: We did it!!!

Posted on April 14, 2010

Yesterday, I reached my funding goal of $1500 with my 20th backer. Today, with 10 days to go, support continues to come in. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me meet and exceed this goal.

I have been wearing a lot of hats lately (coffee gopher, finance, marketing and PR, tech), working hard to make this venture a success. MxNM LE has been selling steadily and is holding it's place among the top 100 iPad music applications. I'm looking forward to using what I have learned so far to develop my next application and introduce another product to the market.

Once again, thank you, and let me reiterate just how important each and every dollar has and will be to the success of what I hope will become a full fledged development business.

Update #5: MxNM LE Now Available in the iPad App Store

Posted on April 3, 2010

I may be a little worse for wear as a result, but, after much back and forth with Apple, the limited edition of my MxNM application made it into the app store for the iPad launch today. You can check it out here.

It feels great to be ahead of schedule, and I'm looking forward to picking up my iPad this morning and finally seeing the app on its intended platform.

I'll post some video footage of MxNM LE in action sometime over the next couple of days.
