International Order Update & New Original Art Reward
After doing a little more research, I discovered that Canadians are doing just fine with the original pledge amount + $5 for extra shipping. Those of you in any other country abroad, however, I will need to ask for an additional $5 in your pledge to help cover some of the cost of sending you the book. So, for each copy of the book you want, a total of +$10 will be required to help cover costs. To make things easier, I set up additional reward tiers for the true international order amounts, and you can just move to those tiers. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you so much for your kindness and patience!
Now, I do have bad news for anyone who ordered 5 books and are located internationally. Sending a box of books to anywhere outside of North America will cost me more than the entire pledge, so needless to say, I will not be able to fulfill those orders. If you would like multiple copies, I suggest pledging in one of the real international order reward tiers and add multiples of the full amount for more copies. Sorry again for the inconvenience. I wish there was an easier way to get these books to you!
NEW REWARD TIER: On my recent road trip I was having a blast doing original drawings for people at events and decided to do just a little extra work on this campaign by drawing more original art. So I decided to open up the CHARACTER DUOS reward tier.
I will draw any two of my characters from any of my comics. This includes Amulet, Daisy Kutter, Copper, my Flight stories, and even Clive and Cabbage. The image above is a sample of what the final artwork looks like. I don't do commissioned artwork, so this is one way to get a nice drawing from me. The final artwork will be included inside of a signed/sketched copy of Daisy Kutter, and you receive both for a $150 pledge. If you want it personalized, just let me know.
To add to the fun, I will be creating a new CHARACTER DUOS piece for every $5000 we raise to be randomly placed in signed copies of the book. That means so far FOUR original pieces will be placed inside of the signed copies, including the piece above. I may increase the number of these original drawings that I do based on how much fun I have doing them! In any case, please spread the word!

Shipping internationally is going to cost a lot. If it troubles people so much they have the freedom to cancel their pledges.

HS Facio > Suzie is right, but I did find that first class mail is a bit cheaper than the flat rate. You also have to factor in that every dollar earned on here is subject to taxes and fees, which amounts to about 25% of the entire amount. I am essentially taking a loss on international orders but making up for it on domestic pledges. Not by much, though. When you factor the time it takes for me and my crew to pack and ship these books (not to mention signing and sketching and drawing), we are definitely losing money here, but my goal was quite different than most of the others on the site. I just wanted to have a stock of personal copies and share them with others, and as such, the backers have helped me subsidize the cost of printing, and given me a ton of books to keep. If you plan to cancel your pledge, no worries, and I thank you for taking the time to check out this project! Hopefully, I can get Daisy back on the shelf in an official capacity so I won't have to do this again! :)

The cheapest flat rate International mailer I can find at USPS.com is actually $12.95 which would mean Kazu is being generous by only requesting $10.
Hopefully Jake from The Antler Boy doesn't run into big problems with undercharging for shipping. I supported his project too and hate to think he underestimated the cost of getting his work out to others.

Thinking about to cancel my pledge.
$10 for shipping costs of ONE book to Mexico it's almost the cost of the book itself. As I said earlier, I recently backed up The Antler Boy and Other Stories project and I'm geeting FIVE books for $10. See the difference?

To get an unsigned copy in the US, we'll fulfill the order for the $15 pledge amount, so you need not worry. The confusion mostly stems from dealing with international orders other than Canada.

I'm confused... What do I need to pledge for an unsigned copy to be sent to the U.S.? I may be reading it wrong, but Update #8 seems to contradict what the reward tier descriptions say. I don't mind paying a little extra, but want to make sure I pledged the right amount.
