Kickstarter

Hi Everyone! As I wrap up my last term as a fashion design graduate student in the midwest, I decided to jump in a new adventure, from Brazil, through Oregon, California and Missouri to Atlanta International Fashion Week. This week I applied and received a confirmation email saying that I was selected to be part of Atlanta International Fashion Week 2012 that will happen in the end of July. Great News? Yes, Awesome News! Challenge? Create 12 looks and be responsible for all the trip and show expenses. Ideas? Expand my graduate collection, which had 4 looks. Where to Start? Kickstarter! Hope? Yes, hope to have help from all of you.

The collection is called Pattern Puzzle. My goal was to let the fabric speak to me in all ways including creating garments with scrap fabric from the first pieces. This idea of freeing objects and reusing everything just fascinates me. It excites me to know that with YOUR help I will be able to expand this collection and let others see how fabric-talk is sustainably beautiful.

The video shows the first 4 pieces of the collection. As you can see I am a very hard worker, and  I go above and beyond to excel in what I do. Be sure that it won't be any different for your reward.

Your funds will take me to my next adventure. 

Your help will be used to expand the collection (600), pay for the registration fee (450) get me to Atlanta (300) and support my time over there (700). The rest is kickstarter, amazon and rewards percentage.
