About this project
meat number 5 is a musical collaboration between beatmaker and drummer ricky ropesack and dj/co-producer big once, based in chicago. we released our first album in 2007, and a couple e.p's since then. we are currently working hard to put the finishing touches on our second full length album, low flying planes.
we will naturally be releasing this as a digital download, but we would also like to press it onto high quality digipack cd's and cassette tapes. we are hollering at kick starter to get some assistance with mastering, duplication and shipping costs.

1 n: a genetically engineered meat organism that perpetually feeds and grows off of itself by ingesting it's own excrement. Perpetually growing bigger and bigger and eventually dispensing edible, nutritious meat for all times.

3 n: a sonic collaboration between Beatmaker/Drummer Ricky Ropesack & DJ/Co-Producer Big Once. They released their self-titled debut album in September of 2007. The Oblivion EP followed in 2009, and 2011 brings the release of their overdue second full length album Low Flying Planes. Ropesack and Big Once are former members of the deceased hip-hop band, The Cankles (2004-2006) and Big Once is the current Red Bull Thre3style Chicago Champion.
