Kickstarter

Those of you who know me will be aware that I'm a lousy salesman, particularly where it involves my own projects. So this whole Kickstarter experiment has been humbling, to say the least.

BUT THE END, SHE IS NEAR! Today we hit the 90% FUNDED level. I'm in the middle of one final sortie of propaganda bombs out into more distant lands (since I've milked my local chums totally dry)... and I daresay we may get this thing DONE by the deadline. It's too close to fail now.

The recording is nearly finished. Just one more session (or two) with Mullinax & Barsky (Pilesar & Insect Factory) and this album will be in the bag. I assure you it will be well worth all this begging on the street with wobbly knees...

So huge thanks to all of you. But we're not quite there yet, so spread the word. We've got to even out the frequencies. Combat the forces of sonic evil. There's too much sub-mediocre music out there. 

Blessed are the noise-makers.

It was like a weird glass ceiling for a while, but we finally broke through the 50% barrier. Now it's a stampede to the finish. This campaign ends on April 1 (the day of the fool... appropriate, no?) so it'll be tight but it's still possible. If you haven't pledged your support by pre-ordering a copy, GIT IT DONE! 

Or if you have already, THANK YOU! Perhaps twelve thousand of your closest friends would dig it as well? 

It will be close. If the funding goal isn't met here on Kickstarter, the album will be put on ice for an indefinite period, while we sell our blood and organs to shady characters on the streets of DC to find the cash. So if this doesn't work, "Negative Space" may not see the light of day for a while.

So let's nail this thing! Space is the place!
